Just had a great telephone Appointment with Dr Virk. Who was friendly helpful and listened to me. I sent photos and he called me straight back to discuss treatment. This was a really good experience.Thank you

Hate having to ring surgery for anything. If you get through to the operator and put through to à receptionist you are left ages on hold waiting for them to answer the phone.

Suggested improvements
Put a new phone system in that tells you where you are in the queue when on hold. Patients could then make an informed decision whether they wanted to wait or not.

As it’s not always possible to see or to speak my own doctor, I have found all the doctors exceptionally helpful . The surgery has always a very clean standard, and the receptionists are very helpful and knowledgeable. Obviously with Covid , it as changed our way of life and we have to accept the changes, but at no time as the standards dropped. I have had several telephone consultations, and it as been the same as talking to the doctor across the desk, getting exactly the same outcome other than an examination, which was fulfilled by that after attending the hospital.

I don’t believe that Newgate Medical Group can be any better than the brilliant standard they already adhere too.

There are so many recorded messages and instructions to listen to before you're finally told the surgery is experiencing a high volume of calls and you are in a queue, no matter what time of day it is. Clearly the practice wants neither verbal or personal contact with patients.

Suggested improvements
Just get somebody to answer the telephone and stop leaving callers with so much to listen to whist we're just trying to make an appointment.

Throughout the difficult times due to COVID , the Newgate Medical Group has endeavoured to keep the services available , be it initially over the phone and as normal as possible, and keeping on top of all Covid hygiene that’s required. It’s with confidence due to the Groups standards that I feel safe within the surroundings.

Suggested improvements
In such strange times I’m sure that the Newgate Medical Group could not have done any better in serving it’s patients.
